Google Business Profiles tools are temporarily unavailable

Several features and tools within Google Business Profiles are currently temporarily unavailable. These features include the ability to check verification status, manage appeals and manage reviews. Google said they are working on recovering these features.

What is not working. Google said that some of its support tools are impacted by some outage of sorts. The specific tools that are unavailable include:

  • Check your verification status
  • Manage appeals for your Google Business Profiles
  • Manage your Google Business reviews

What error is being returned. The errors you might experience include:

  • Error messages when trying to access the tools above
  • Inability to proceed past certain steps in the impacted tools

What options do you have. Google said you can use the following contact forms to reach out to the Google Business Profiles team for help with these issues:

  • Verification
  • Profile appeals
  • Content appeals
  • Review removals

When will it be fixed. It is unclear when it will be fixed, but Kara from the Google Business Profiles team posted, “We’re working on a swift recovery so thanks for your patience!”
